-Assists NPS Park Ranger and volunteer Youth Art Program Instructor in the successful execution of the park’s special youth
art program for area youth ages 6-12.
-The program teaches children about artistic mediums of the 19th century, Civil War battlefield documentation, plein air
painting, and watercolor painting techniques.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with set up / tear down of the program.
-Assist NPS Park Ranger and volunteer Youth Art Program Instructor with program needs such as refreshing brush water,
ensuring participants are following instructions, helping participants when needed, and other miscellaneous duties as they
arise.
