Looking for a meaningful way to support individuals and families impacted by cancer? Whether you're passionate about leading classes or lending a hand behind the scenes, Cancer Bridges offers diverse volunteer opportunities tailored to your interests and skills.
At Cancer Bridges, our mission is to provide free programs and services that uplift and empower those impacted by cancer. From virtual yoga sessions to in-person support groups, art classes, and one-on-one counseling, our initiatives span a spectrum of needs and preferences. Located in the vibrant Strip District, our office serves as a hub for both virtual and in-person activities.
Volunteers are the heart of Cancer Bridges, driving many of our programs and initiatives. Whether you're eager to lead a health and wellness workshop, guide an art class, or offer your assistance at our reception desk or special events, there's a place for you in our community. We also welcome volunteers to contribute their expertise in administrative tasks, event planning, and teaching various social and educational classes.
In addition, volunteers can also make a difference through our Family and Youth Programs or by supporting our Development team.
Groups looking to volunteer together are encouraged to join us for in-person projects and events, fostering camaraderie while making a positive impact.
Flexibility is key-we understand the demands of your schedule and strive to accommodate accordingly. As a gesture of appreciation, Cancer Bridges provides free parking to all volunteers. Please note that Pennsylvania state clearances are required for volunteering, and we'll guide you through the process every step of the way.
