Love to watch things grow? Want to show love and care to families who are facing the end of a loved one's life? Join our team of Garden Volunteers supervised by a Master Gardener. We plant, weed, water and harvest fresh organic vegetables to deliver to our Carilion Hospice families. This is a very special way to show love and care to our patients, many of whom were former gardeners themselves and know the special flavor of a home grown tomato! Some of our families are food insecure and these veggies provide real nutrition. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we would love your support of this deeply satisfying program.
