Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island is seeking FLUENT Bilingual Volunteers to help make Wishes come true in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. (Volunteers must live in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.)
We hope with this posting for our need for bilingual Wish Granting Volunteers we will find wonderful, caring and creative people who speak can speak English, and are also fluent in at least one of the following languages: Vietnamese, Arabic, Bengali, Cape Verdean Creole, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Haitian Creole or Spanish.
Our bilingual volunteers will attend a one-time (virtual) 90 minute training session to learn how we grant wishes. Then once they have completed their volunteer application and criminal background check, they will be ready to help make magical wishes come true for children who are facing life-threatening illnesses.
We have several upcoming trainings to choose from: Wednesday, May 15: Noon-2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 11: 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 22: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Monday, July 22: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 10: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
