As a Volunteer Board of Director at Atlantic Life Safety & Emergency Services, Inc., you will play a crucial role in guiding and shaping the strategic direction of our organization.   4. Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Identify potential risks and opportunities facing the organization and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  5. Collaboration and Relationship Building:

    • Collaborate effectively with fellow board members, staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and community leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Atlantic Life Safety & Emergency Services, Inc.
  • Previous experience serving on a board of directors or relevant leadership experience preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more areas relevant to the organization's work (e.g., finance, fundraising, legal, program management, marketing).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness to dedicate time and effort to fulfill board responsibilities, including attending meetings and participating in committee work.
