Empower change by utilizing your expertise in human resources to ensure that fewer youths have to face challenges like skipped meals, gun violence, and poverty. At Season to Soar, we are committed to equipping underserved youth with the support they need to overcome these circumstances.
As an unpaid, volunteer HR Generalist at Season to Soar, you will manage a diverse range of projects and tasks related to human resources. You play a vital role in supporting various HR initiatives, communicating with internal stakeholders, and collaborating with other committees to address their HR needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a wide variety of projects and tasks related to human resources.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding volunteers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Develop and manage policies and procedures to enhance organizational operations, particularly related to human resources.
- Create and distribute communications for internal stakeholders to keep them informed about HR-related matters.
- Work closely with other committees to understand and address their short- and long-term HR needs.
Time Commitment:
Estimated commitment of 2 hours per week executing projects in addition to a 30 minute weekly committee meeting. This position has a term length of 1 year.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Season to Soar's mission and commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage HR-related projects and tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or a related field preferred.
