ORGANIZATION: ECG Robotics

We are seeking a volunteer to guide and mentor a high school robotics team. As a mentor, you will work closely with the team to help them develop their skills in robotics and engineering, and prepare for competitions and events. This is a part-time position that requires an in-person commitment of approximately 4-8 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback on team projects and help them to improve their designs
  • Assist with the planning and execution of team events
  • Coordinate with non-profit board
  • Encourage team members to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with other mentors and team coaches to support the overall success of the team

Requirements:

  • Passion for robotics and engineering
  • Located in the Greensboro Triad area
  • Able to be quickly contacted

This is a volunteer position, but it requires a commitment of approximately 4-8 hours per week. We welcome anyone who shares our passion for robotics to apply, regardless of background or experience.

ECG Robotics was formed in 2004, and started out with a single team - FRC Team 1533, also known as Triple Strange. As the club grew, it added FTC Team 731, Wannabee Strange, in 2007.

a student-led club in Greensboro, NC made up of five FIRST Robotics teams, working together each season to not only build robots, but to share our love of robotics and STEM with kids and adults in our community.
