Cleaning Shift at WDDC

ORGANIZATION: Women's Daytime Drop-In Center

We are looking for a volunteer (or two at a time) to clean the WDDC once a week to ensure we are operating in a clean space to serve our unhoused and low income families with safe food, clean space when assessing their housing needs, and overall healthy environment for us to operate out of. The cleaning a volunteer can provide helps WDDC staff stay focused on tasks that bring clients housing direct support, mental health services, grocery support, and hot meals. Thank you for considering volunteering with WDDC.

1 Shift

  • afternoon / 01:30 PM to 02:30 PM PST
    Cleaning entails mopping, taking out all trash, disinfecting surfaces, etc.

The Women's Daytime Drop-In Center empowers women and children to move from the streets to a home by providing ongoing and intensive counseling, case management services, transitional housing, and a safe daytime refuge.

Our services include:

  • Hospitality window - serving meals to go, groceries, hygiene products, diapers
  • Intensive case management to assist with obtaining and maintaining housing.
  • Children's Program offering positive play and educational activities.
  • Extensive housing resource information, referral, and advocacy.
  • Bridget Transitional House.
