We need help at the Hope Center Resale Shop receiving, moving, rehabbing, sorting, and other tasks. Our big need is finding people that are able to lift heavier furniture items to be able to reposition throughout the facility.

Description
Hope Center (HC) is a non-profit organization that was started in 2020 by members of the Valparaiso Nazarene Church to come alongside those struggling in the Valparaiso community. The deepest conviction on which it is built is found directly in its name: Hope. We hold tight to our beliefs that are based out of Scripture which reveals the Living Hope. We follow His lead to love those who fight every day to provide the basic needs of life. One day, God will make all things new and bring total restoration to this world, and we believe it is our mission to help make that a reality here and now.
Hope Center is not a charity, but a place that helps to bring the necessary routes and resources available into an easy to navigate plan that helps someone take their next step. We assess a comprehensive list of needs and then co-create a working plan that an individual or family can travel. With the help of a Hope Center advocate, they will receive coaching, mentoring, encouragement, and accountability every step of the way, all the while allowing the individual to have ownership of the process. Our goal is to see people reach self-sustainability in numerous ways.
