PetConnect Rescue (PCR) is an animal welfare organization dedicated to saving dogs and cats at high risk of euthanasia. Our compassionate volunteers and staff find loving homes for all the animals that come into our care and provide ongoing support throughout the adoption process and beyond.

Position Overview:

Use your passion for graphic design to make a difference and join our volunteer team as a Graphic Designer! Become an integral part of our organization by supporting our Advancement Manager in creating promotional materials for our events, social media, and website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design graphics as requested, ensuring they align with the organization's branding guidelines and visual identity
• Incorporate feedback from Advancement Manager and work closely to ensure best practices are being implemented
• Coordinate with events team and social media team to ensure timely deliverable of materials
• Adhere to established guidelines and feedback from stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in all graphic materials
• Ensure all final designs and assets are properly saved and organized in the organization’s Google Drive and Canva accounts

Qualifications:

• Professional training and experience in graphic design
• Expertise in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
• Passion for animal welfare and a genuine interest in our organization's mission
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated personality and able to meet agreed upon project deadlines
• Passionate about connecting with key stakeholders to create visually appealing graphics and meet necessary brand guidelines
• Reliable access to computer and internet
