Real Queens Fix Each Other's Crowns develops programs to inspire women to reclaim their crowns and communities. We center our outreach around creating safe spaces for women and young girls to discuss their mental health openly. In addition, Real Queens aims to close the gender inequality gap. We believe that providing access to community healing, cultivating brave spaces, and providing public education will help young girls and women live life to the fullest as well as create sustainability within communities.
We are looking for a Website Developer for the Real Queens Fix Each Other’s Crowns . This volunteer role is responsible for maintaining and updating the organization's website. The Website Developer works closely with the nonprofit's leadership and marketing team to align the website's information with the organization's current and upcoming events, and information.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Experience with Wix’s user interface.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
- Portfolio of past projects demonstrating proficiency in web development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the website is up to date (e.g., Past/Upcoming Events, Volunteer Opportunities, Team Page, etc)
- Ensure the website is visually appealing and features a user-friendly design with clear navigation.
- Ensures the website is consistent with our branding.
- Collaborate with team members to understand the organization’s requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure the website is optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Perform website testing and debugging.
- Update website design to include community impact metrics, community target map, and any other graphic elements that need to be added to the website.

We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that was created with the intention of facilitating a safe place for women for networking, advice, education, development, charity opportunities, personal insecurities, fashion, sharing successes, guidance, independence, venting etc. This platform is here to encourage open communication and unity as goddesses in the community and to be apart of a strong group of women with like minded ideals. What goals do you strive to accomplish, how can we be there for you today, how can we motivate each other to be the best you can be every single day? This is a place of positive energy free from judgement and serves to uplift you the best that we can. Women empowering other women and fixing each other’s crown held with your head high.
