We are a veteran-owned, local Hospice company, looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate the gift of their time. Volunteering can include activities such as listening, talking, playing music, or working on a puzzle together. Volunteers can also provide administrative support such as answering phones, check-in calls.
Make a real difference in someone's life! Flexible hours/days. We work with YOUR schedule. We simply ask for 2 hours a week. There is NO physical care provided by you.

Description
There are times in each person's life journey when help is needed. ViaQuest Hospice exists to provide that support as life's journey draws to an end. Through the collaborative efforts of our specialized team, ViaQuest Hospice provides a program that focuses on meeting patient-driven goals. Quality of life is promoted through pain and symptom-driven interventions designed to promote dignity and lessen the burden of disease progression. ViaQuest Hospice was founded on the principal that all individuals have the right to make an informed decision regarding their healthcare treatment options. We seek to educate the communities we serve, giving individuals the opportunity for self-determination, empowerment and choice over health care issues related to their life's journey. ViaQuest Hospice seeks to lessen the burdens faced by those individuals and their families by providing the highest quality of hospice service. The ViaQuest Hospice team consists of highly qualified nurse, hospice aides, social workers, spiritual counselors and volunteers who work to partnership with the patient, family and their personal physician to make the final journey of life the most meaningful.
