Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE DIOCESE OF FORT WAYNE-SOUTH BEND INC

Catholic Charities is looking for volunteer ESL tutors for our refugee families! Learning a new language is one of the main challenges refugees face when they resettle to the United States. Volunteer ESL (English as a Second Language) tutors fill the critical role of guiding a refugee client in their language learning journey. With passion for helping clients and a heart to patiently teach, ESL tutors offer this practical service that impacts clients long-term. ESL tutoring takes place in the client's home, typically once or twice a week for 1-2 hours per session. Volunteers do not need experience teaching ESL and do not need to be bilingual. If interested, please complete our volunteer application here: https://www.ccfwsb.org/volunteer-application
