The Animal Cause, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian animal welfare organization. Our mission is to save shelter lives through our services and programs offerings; while examining and supporting efforts to solve the causes behind the shelter population. We partner with and support other organizations to unite all animal advocates, engage in political advocacy, and raise awareness to cause social and political change. Our vision is to reform animal welfare by becoming a strong, united, and impactful presence. We rely solely on donations and fundraising events.
We are 100% volunteer-based (no one at The Animal Cause, Inc. earns a salary).
To celebrate our ten year anniversary, we are adding a new program in 2024 to our existing portfolio of programs and service offerings! This new program in and of itself will add long term complexities and resource demands; therefore, we are recruiting an army of volunteers to help us with this endeavor!!!
If your college degree program requires volunteer hours, this is the opportunity for you!
We are looking for Interns to fill the volunteer needs in a number of different areas of our Organization, to include but not limited to:
We are building teams for each type of volunteer needed so that no schedule is required, workload is shared and collaboration is an integral part of the volunteer experience. Time expectations for these volunteer Intern opportunities are around 5-20 hours per week; depending on the number of team members there are.
All of our volunteer opportunities offer anyone exposure to additional skill sets via mentorship, operational duties, projects and more!
Note: As this is a volunteer position, compensation will not be provided. You must be a United States citizen and at least 21 years of age to apply.
At this time, we do not accept court-ordered service hours nor track community service hours.
Volunteers must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or other business related to animal welfare.
