Role Description:

AHHM is a newly established non-profit looking to secure its first round of funding. As the giving specialist, you will lead or assist in our fundraising efforts, donor acquisition strategies, and sponsorship outreach initiatives. Your role will involve identifying promising donors and sponsors, cultivating relationships with philanthropic individuals and organizations, developing fundraising campaigns and events, and overseeing donation processing and acknowledgment. Additionally, you will be responsible for making and receiving US-based calls to engage with prospective donors and sponsors, answer inquiries, and convey our organization's mission and impact.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Strong sales or negotiation skills, with the ability to pitch our organization's mission and programs persuasively to potential donors and sponsors.
• Able to make and receive US-based calls, with a professional and engaging phone demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and project management skills to oversee fundraising campaigns and events.
