Come volunteer in the Smith Bridge Picnic Area of First State National Historical Park on Friday, May 17th from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM! Volunteers will clear away non-native species that are encroaching upon native vegetation in the picnic area of the park. Assist in beautifying the space before the summer season begins!
This position is event based and will be scheduled as an event with no recurring positions. All volunteers should park in the Smith Bridge parking lot (approximately 50 Brandywine Creek Road, Wilmington, DE 19803) and will be met by a staff member. Please wear close-toed shoes, long plants, and a long sleeve shirt, and bring water and snacks to last you the duration of the event.
