2024 Celebration 5K for Ottawa County
Anyone who has been to a Girls on the Run 5K knows that it is unlike any other running event!
The Celebration 5K is, first and foremost, a CELEBRATION of and for the girls who are completing 20 life-skills lessons of Girls on the Run programming. Positive energy abounds as the girls dance to warm-up music and gather with their teammates as they head to the starting line.
However, this event is only possible with the help of a large number of volunteers, who spend a few hours with us on race-day to help keep the girls motivated and (most of all) SAFE!
Our 5K is a non-competitive event that will bring a smile to your face! Whether volunteering for set-up, out on the course, or staying after to help clean up, you will be so glad you joined us!
