The Best Buddies Citizens program supports the development of friendships between adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Friendship through the Citizens program helps people with IDD become part of mainstream society and fosters inclusion on both a personal and community level. Those interested would be able to participate in group events and one-on-one hangouts with a new friend and help improve quality of life, socialization, and communication skills for people in their community. We currently have many who are interested in a new friend and would enjoy getting to know you!
