Mission Statement

The mission of Blacklining Foundation is to reverse the negative effects of Redlining by addressing the racial inequities, inequalities and injustices inherent in the blatant discriminatory practice of Redlining.

Description

The vision of Blacklining Foundation is to witness the reversal of the negative effects of redlining and to see areas that were Redlined and once deemed Unworthy, and Undesirable become flourishing communities in America.

Blacklining Foundation has the vision of seeing an increased number of Black Americans owning homes while taking part in creating communities that are free of high crime rates, failing school systems and insignificant community involvement. For the youth and adolescents in these communities Blacklining Foundation has the vison of seeing youth and adolescents that are actively engaged in the community, possess clear identifiable career, life and financial goals that support the creation of generational wealth and finally bridging a community connection that prevents the cycle of poverty to continue in these previously redlined areas across America.
