Girls from around the area have been meeting each week to learn about themselves and connect as a team. The season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! YOU can help make it happen. We need volunteers to help set up, hand out water and other important roles to make the race happen.

Description
Girls on the Run(r) is a life-changing, experiential learning program for girls in grades 3rd through 8th. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the program are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development.
We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless p otential and is free to boldy pursue her dreams.
