About ROCHESTER ACCESSIBLE ADVENTURES

Location:

2165 BRIGHTON HENRIETTA TOWNLINE RD, ROCHESTER, NY 14623, US

Mission Statement

RAA’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of people with disabilities by guiding communities to create a culture of physical accessibility, social inclusion and equitable access in recreation, sports, and tourism. Vision: A society where recreation, sports, and tourism are fully accessible to and inclusive of people with and without disabilities- always.

Description

With over 300,000 people living with a disability in the Greater Rochester region, we are committed to helping create a society where recreation, sports and tourism are fully accessible to and inclusive of people with and without disabilities. We believe we share with you the goal of keeping people healthy and active within our communities and would love your support!

Our work is exciting! We train and support recreation entities to operate with full inclusion of people with disabilities every time their doors are open; we are developing a robust menu of adaptive and inclusive sports opportunities, including the Rochester Wheels, Rochester Rockets and Rochester Sled Hawks teams; and our DirectConnect services ensure that every year we are connecting more children, youth and adults these opportunities!
