Transforming lives can be as simple as dedicating just 30 minutes a week. Become a mentor to a young adult from an underserved community or a transitioning military veteran as they embark on their journey into the tech industry through NPower’s acclaimed technology training program.
Mentoring isn't just about giving back; it's an opportunity for personal and professional growth. As a mentor, you'll serve as a guiding light, offering invaluable insights into workplace dynamics, sharing your own career trajectory, and helping mentees identify and achieve their career aspirations. Your support can make all the difference in boosting the confidence and success of NPower trainees.
Our structured mentoring program is designed to make your experience seamless and rewarding. With comprehensive support materials and a dedicated team, mentoring has never been easier. Our full-time mentoring staff are committed to ensuring both mentors and mentees have everything they need to thrive.
Take the first step towards making a lasting impact by joining the NPowerMATCH program today. Together, we can change lives and shape the future of tech!
Previous mentoring experience is not required.

About NPower
Location:

Mission Statement
NPower creates pathways to economic prosperity by launching digital careers for military veterans and young adults from under-represented communities.
Description
We focus on two populations that experience barriers to employment - low-income veterans and young adults (ages 18-26) - and give them the support, skills, and industry-recognized certification needed to fill in-demand tech jobs. We offer our program free of charge to those who need us most - men and women earning less than 200% of the federal poverty level - and they primarily come from racial and socioeconomic backgrounds underrepresented in the tech industry. Our work addresses some of the biggest challenges of our times: racial inequities in access to education and opportunity, rampant unemployment, and lack of diversity in the tech workforce.
Founded in 2000, NPower has grown to operate in various markets across the country: New York, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, and California.
