This role will be responsible for coordinating which dates we can host Puppy Yoga events and be on-site to ensure the event runs smoothly. They will work with our Event Leads to ensure that the correct number of foster puppies and volunteers are recruited for each event. They will bring all necessary supplies required to host an event, including cleaning supplies and volunteer/foster recruitment materials.

We typically host one Puppy Yoga event per quarter, but would consider increasing this if there was more interest.

Time commitment is roughly 2 hours per event, 1 hour of prep and clean-up with 1 hour of active time during the event.

About Safe Hands Rescue

Location:

3732 10th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55407, US

Mission Statement

To save and improve the lives of companion animals by engaging communities and connecting people, resources and knowledge.

Description

Safe Hands Rescue was founded in 2006 and has continued to grow and save more dogs and cats every year. We focus on saving animals from SE Kentucky, an impoverished area with great need. With underfunded shelters and lack of access to affordable spay and neuter programs. We partner with several shelters in the Chicago area and Twin Cities to save as many animals as possible. We often take animals that other groups pass up due to health issues. Our commitment is to help every adoptable animal in the shelter make it out alive.
