Medi-Home Hospice is looking for administrative volunteers to work in our office here in St. Pauls, NC. As an administrative volunteer your work can include: answering phone calls, helping with bereavement for families, making copies, sending letters to families.
No previous experience required.
Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Hospice Care The philosophy of our hospice care division is to give individuals and their families the true compassion, caring and support they deserve as they deal with a life-limiting illness. Hospice is about adding quality to life, and helping our patients live those days as they choose in the comfort of their home. Our services offer a specialized team of dedicated caregivers, chosen to meet the unique needs of every Hospice patient. Our volunteers are the heart of the hospice team. We depend on our hospice volunteers to assist us in providing compassionate support and care to our patients and their loved ones during this difficult time in their lives.
Our volunteers offer support, companionship and practical care to our patients. Whether it’s running errands, sitting with a patient to provide relief for the care giver, reading to a patient, helping a patient write in his/her journal or providing the power of presence. As a hospice volunteer, you will truly make a difference.
