This volunteer will go either to homes or facilities to visit/sit with patients. They provide relief to caregivers and provide companionship to the patient. Most often this is once a week. We also have opportunities to help with restocking supplies where the boxes weigh less than 10 pounds.

Description

Harbor Hospice provides specialized care for terminally ill patients and their families. Our team of healthcare professionals administer comfort and supportive care to indvidual's, focusing on their well-being and comfort. Harbor Hospice was founded in 2005 by Qamar U. Arfeen MD, FCCP with a goal of providing outstanding care to patients and offering the community a better understanding of hospice care. We are joint commission certified.
