About Us: Pedicares is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Black woman entrepreneurs through meaningful support and financial grants. Our latest initiative, Impact Project 11, is a groundbreaking Pedis & Mimosas mini-series that will be featured in our new app. This series will honors 11 Black women entrepreneurs by providing them with $5,000 grants and a platform to promote their businesses. Opportunity: We are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of Impact Project 11 and securing the necessary sponsorships to bring this impactful project to life. Your expertise will help us create lasting change for the entrepreneurs we serve and ensure the success of our mission. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with fellow board members to strategize and execute fundraising initiatives. * Identify and engage potential sponsors to support Impact Project 11. * Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the project’s alignment with our mission and goals. * Advocate for Pedicares within your networks and the broader community. Ideal Candidates: * MUST have experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising, or corporate sponsorships. * Are passionate about empowering Black women entrepreneurs and supporting community-driven initiatives. * Bring a strong network of contacts in business, philanthropy, or media. * Are ready to commit time and energy to making Impact Project 11 a success.
