Good Neighbor Center is a non-profit tutoring center that serves the Twin Cities area! We serve students from preschool up to students ready to graduate from college! We operate Monday-Wednesday 5:00-8:30 pm.
This semester, we have a large number of college students working on their programs in nursing and a variety of other medical fields. We desperately need tutors to fill this specific set of knowledge! The main courses we see students need help with are microbiology and anatomy courses. Please reach out if you have these skills and are willing to help our students! We have a very flexible tutoring schedule and are happy to have you any time you are able!

Mission Statement
Hi everyone, we are Good Neighbor Tutoring Center! Good Neighbor is a nonprofit tutoring and mentoring center in St. Paul, MN. We work to empower young people through education, mentor them to prepare them for success in life, and create a safe and positive space. We strongly believe that knowledge is power! We offer free, drop-in academic tutoring and homework help year-round for students in PreK through College. We operate Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm. All are welcome here. Good Neighbor is always looking for volunteer tutors!
Description
The Good Neighbor Center (GNC) aims high to close the education gap that prevents many young people from achieving their full potential as students. Our volunteer tutors focus on getting young people up to speed academically through academic practice and one-on-one tutoring, bonding over a shared meal, promoting the value of free time and play, and mentoring and mirroring healthy relationships.
Summer learning helps young people improve academics, keep them busy, and give them something to look forward to three times a week. When summer educational resources are slim, our program can keep skills sharp, provide the extra oomph for students who need additional time to master academic content, and prevent summer brain drain.
