ORGANIZATION: Sewa International, Inc. - DMV

Sewa International, Maryland Chapter, in collaboration with Howard County Recreation and Parks (HCRP), invites you to volunteer at an environmental stewardship activity at Troy Park, Elkridge. Help the HCRP, Natural Resource Volunteer Corp control invasive vines! We will be cutting vines from native trees to help our ecosystem. Bring along family members, friends, and neighbors to volunteer in this noble cause to help our planet Earth.

- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (Minimum age: 8)

- Free T-shirts, snacks, and water will be provided. Please wear your Sewa T-shirt if you have it already.

- Please bring refillable water bottle, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and long pants, and bring gloves if you have them. They will be provided otherwise.

- We will be cutting vines in the woods so sunscreen and bug repellent are recommended.

- Tools and skills training will be provided.

- There is no inclement weather date.
