PACE's flag football league is a co-ed developmental program that focuses on teaching kids the fundamentals of football with an emphasis on building character and good sportsmanship. The league is open to children ages 4 through 17. The league is in search of board members to oversee the season and make it a great season for our young athletes.
Volunteer Board Member Positions
- League President - will manage the practice and game schedules for the league, support team coaches with logistical issues, and be the main point of contact between the league board and the PACE Program board
- League Vice President - will support League President as needed and will be responsible for volunteer coordination (scheduling league volunteer shifts, sharing volunteer opportunities, recruiting parent volunteers for opportunities, etc.)
- League Secretary - responsible for scheduling board meetings and creating agenda, taking and maintaining bord meeting minutes, and will have primary responsibility for general league communications including the game schedules, season updates, and other information as needed
- League Treasurer - will manage petty cash for the League including collecting cash payments from Team Parents, oversee the concessions function (manage inventory and cash), and report to the league and PACE Board
The PACE Program Board will provide training and support for all Board Members and coaches. PACE is invested in the children and families in our leagues and want to make sure they have the best experience possible in everything that we do. So, it is a priority that our volunteers feel appreciated and supported.
If you are interested in volunteering, you can sign up via Volunteer Match or contact us by email (admin@thepaceprogram.org) or phone/ text at (346) 774-4136.
