Description: Our Saturday outdoor soccer co-ed league provides elementary & middle school students with the chance to play weekend sports in a safe, competitive environment with lots of fun!
Dates:
- Regular Season: April 13th, April 20th, May 4th, May 11th
- Playoffs May 18th
- Championship June 1st
Volunteer Shifts:
- 9:30am-1pm
- 12:30pm-4pm
Number of volunteers needed: Up to 6 in any given week
Volunteer tasks:
- Set up and breakdown of relevant equipment as needed.
- Ensure that the physical activity space is safe & secure and all potential hazards are removed and/or blocked off.
- Mediate issues with referees, students, staff and/or parents during leagues & tournaments.
- Maintain communication with the Director of Sports & Wellness, Sports Program Manager, Sports League Coordinator and all relevant site related staff.
- Collect, maintain & record attendance information & scores for sports leagues, tournaments & related activities.
- Review & enforce team rosters prior to all league/tournament games.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among all participants for whom they are responsible.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations.
- Greet arriving/departing staff, students and parents.
- Promotes positive character development in all youth & relevant staff

Description
Operating between three and five days each week for 36 weeks during the school year in most programs, we offer combined academic enrichment curricula including: literacy, STEM, leadership, High School Today College Tomorrow (HSTCT) and Middle School Today High School Tomorrow (MSTHST) with sports and wellness, music, visual and performing arts opportunities and trips to educational and cultural institutions.
