A little about our organization: Companis is a nonprofit that matches skilled volunteer workers with other nonprofits in need. We are the safety net for the safety nets. We work with small nonprofits serving our most vulnerable neighbors and feel honored to make these connections.
Current Need: A local arts nonprofit working in partnership with Everett, Lake Stevens, Mukilteo, and Marysville school districts is looking for volunteers to assist with after school arts programs offering a combination of drawing, painting, and dance. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to youth in our community. Typical session hours are weekdays from 3-5pm. No art experience necessary as an art instructor will plan and organize the class. Volunteers assist with activities, create/explore alongside kids, and have fun!

Description
Companis has worked in Snohomish and King counties for nearly 30 years to match passionate volunteers with local nonprofit agencies in need. We ask the right questions and listen deeply to determine the right fit for both volunteer and agency.
As part of the Companis placement, you will meet with a Companis Program Manager to share your interests, skill sets, availability, and experience. The program manager will share additional information about available roles, local nonprofit agencies, and Companis expectations and training. Companis' goal is to find the right match for both our volunteer worker and the agency to ensure that you are supported the entire way!
