Fresh Mart Food Pantry - The Hill Y in Westminster

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Y in Central Maryland

Y logo

Volunteers at our Fresh Mart food pantry are instrumental in helping our neighbors select much needed healthy food. We are a full-choice food pantry, meaning our neighbors are invited to shop the pantry like they would a grocery store. Volunteers are there to help inform their choices, keep the pantry looking neat and clean, and collect basic demographic and contact information. Volunteers are encouraged to get to know our neighbors in order to understand their current needs. We serve 200 families a week and distribute over 2,000 pounds of food - none of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers!

Our pantry is open Mondays from 3-6 and Saturdays from 10-1. We need 3-4 volunteers for each date/time.
