First Graduate’s 8th-grade students are applying to high schools all over San Francisco, and we want them to shine! Help 8th-grade students who need to interview for independent and parochial high schools hone their interview skills for the day. We’ll start with a short introduction and training session. You will meet with students to help them prepare during the mock interviews! The result will be a group of future 9th graders with interview skills that wow high school admission recruiters!

Wait, did you say high school interview?

First Graduate recruits students from public middle schools in the SFUSD. Once it is time for students to transition to high school, First Graduate helps students apply to the right high schools where they can become strong college candidates and gain the academic skills necessary to succeed in college. Students in San Francisco must apply to a high school because all high schools are city-wide schools, and the more prestigious schools often require an interview.
