Description

Gentiva Hospice is a provider of end of life care, serving more people than any other Hospice provider in the country.

Volunteers are an essential part of our interdisciplinary team. They help provide support both administratively and in-home to patients and families. Gentiva offers extensive training on end of life care to our volunteers.

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Usually it's around 30-60 minutes twice a month
  • All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and go through an application process (background check, drug screening, etc.) and training. Most of the time it is 2-4 weeks before volunteers begin seeing patients.
