This is not a paid role. Purely volunteering. Volunteers based in Lagos are preferred.


As a general secretary, you will be expected to:

1. Manage the president's schedule, appointments and work closely to reach significant decisions to support strategic planning within the organization.

2. Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and follow-up action items for meetings.

3. Maintain organized and accessible records of important documents and communications.

4. Maintain records of members and volunteers.

5. Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external communication on behalf of the organization.

6. Assist in the planning and coordination of events, workshops and programs.

Our vision is to be Africa’s leading organization, providing technology-driven knowledge and skills solution for youthful relevance. We do this by discovering, developing and deploying talents and skills. Our purpose is to encourage creativity, promote formal education and stir skills acquisition.
We have had several programs in the past such as Create 1.0, Lockdown Master Class series, Create Initiative Independence Creativity challenges (CIIDCC 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0), World Youth Skill Day (WYSD 1.0, 2.0), Africa Kids Coding, Advantage Conference, Teens’ Life School Visit and Replicate.
