We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful individual to serve as the Fundraising and Grants Coordinator for The Abundant Harvest Community Garden. The Fundraising and Grants Coordinator will identify funding opportunities, write grant proposals, organize fundraising events, and help secure resources for garden projects, infrastructure development, and educational programs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify funding opportunities from grants, foundations, and other sources.
- Write grant proposals and applications to secure funding for garden projects and initiatives.
- Organize fundraising events and campaigns to generate financial support.
- Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors to secure ongoing support for the garden.
- Work with other committee members to develop fundraising strategies and goals.
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with donors and secure financial support.
