We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to serve as the Education Coordinator for The Abundant Harvest Community Garden. The Education Coordinator will develop and implement educational programs, workshops, and resources for gardeners of all skill levels, coordinate with local schools and organizations to promote gardening education, and provide guidance on best practices for sustainable gardening.

Responsibilities:

      • Develop educational programs, workshops, and resources for gardeners.
      • Coordinate with local schools and organizations to promote gardening education.
      • Provide guidance on best practices for sustainable gardening.
      • Organize educational events and activities for gardeners of all skill levels.
      • Collaborate with other committee members to integrate education into garden projects and initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
      • Knowledge of gardening principles and sustainable practices.
      • Experience in developing educational programs or workshops.
      • Passion for teaching and promoting gardening education.

Our initiatives include The Woman First Society, supporting women; The Abundant Harvest Community Garden, addressing food insecurity; Transcendence Pathways, fostering personal growth; and The NewARK Life Initiative, promoting kindness and unity.
