We are seeking an environmentally-conscious individual to serve as the Environmental Specialist for The Abundant Harvest Community Garden. The Environmental Specialist will provide expertise on sustainable gardening practices, soil health, and biodiversity, and help implement eco-friendly initiatives within the garden. This position requires knowledge of environmental science, a commitment to sustainability, and a passion for gardening.

Responsibilities:

      • Advise on sustainable gardening practices, soil health, and biodiversity.
      • Provide expertise on environmental stewardship and conservation efforts.
      • Help implement eco-friendly initiatives within the garden, such as composting and water conservation.
      • Educate gardeners and community members on the importance of environmental sustainability.
      • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in environmental science and gardening.
Desired Qualifications:
      • Degree or background in environmental science, ecology, or related field.
      • Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices and principles.
      • Passion for environmental conservation and stewardship.
