We are an animal rescue founded by people with decades of animal rescue experience. At AHOTO we are committed to saving as many dogs and cats as we can while finding them the best possible forever homes. Once an animal is adopted, we will offer education, training, outreach and support to create a community of happy adopters and their pets. We are always in need of volunteers!
Some of the ways you can help:
- Fostering cats and/dogs in your home
- Transporting of animals to/from the shelter, veterinary appointments and/or adoption shows.
- Setting up for adoption shows, giving extra help, or handling dogs
- Dog Walking to give our dogs in boarding a break from the kennel - take them on field trips to the park, walking paths and other venues
- Helping with administrative tasks such as data entry, bookkeeping
- Outreach to manage social media accounts and help with branding/marketing
- Fundraising through virtual campaigns and in-person events
