We're the Blazers' 50/50 Raffle beneficiary! Help us sell raffle tickets!
Volunteers will arrive at the Rose Quarter Box Office (located at 1 N. Center Court St.) by 12:30PM to meet Blazers staff.
Volunteers are encouraged to eat and hydrate before arriving as they will be moving about selling tickets for about 3+ hours before the raffle (and volunteer shift) ends at halftime. The Blazers will provide a 40% off concession coupon to use once ticket sales conclude at the end of halftime. Typically, organizations receive complimentary tickets and will know if tickets are available to volunteers 1-3 days before the game. According to the Blazers, organizations do normally receive tickets- we just can't promise them!
Please be aware that the Rose Quarter has implemented a no bag policy for all events in both the Moda Center and VMC. Bags can be checked outside for $5 each or should be left at home. Minors are allowed to be present, but cannot sell tickets.

Mission Statement
Impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors - 12+ years, no matter what.
Description
Our model is distinct, courageous, and proven. We have redefined the youth mentoring field by creating the first and only long-term professional mentoring program in the country. Our Friends are experts in building sustained and nurturing relationships with youth. We specialize in working with youth who have faced a lot of adversity. We have over 30 years of data to show that it's real and it works.
Our model was founded on research showing that the single most important factor in overcoming childhood adversity is a long-term, nurturing relationship with a consistent and caring adult. Research over the past three decades continues to affirm how much these relationships matter.
Our healing-centered, long-term mentoring model is now being sought after by communities and systems around the country and the world. They recognize that children who've experienced a lot of adversity need more specialized and long-term mentoring relationships that Friends of the Children-Portland provides.
