We're seeking 1-2 volunteers with graphic design experience to support our mission of ending the experience of homelessness for youth in Alaska. Volunteers would design digital or print assets to support Covenant House Alaska's communications and/or events.
Each month, Covenant House Alaska (CHA)develops various elements related to our work sharing out about the mission. It could be our annual impact materials, flyers related to events, signage or print materials for specific events, social media templates.
We'd estimate there could be up 8 hours/month (maybe more some months, maybe less others) that could support this area. Materials can be shared digitally and any kickoff meetings to share content details could be done virtually. We would appreciate a commitment of minimum 3-6 months.
Volunteers must be proficient in Canva or InDesign as main design tools as CHA has access to those platforms. Volunteer would begin by participating in a 45-minute Branding Training with CHA to understand our brand and communications standards and requirements.

Covenant House Alaska is to be the leader, through collaboration with the community, to provide compassionate, sustainable services and shelter to homeless or at-risk youth in Alaska.

The right to guidance.
The right to an education.
The right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse.
The right to be free from exploitation.
Youth experiencing homelessness have the right to be safe, and most importantly, to be loved.
