At Sunday Lunchbox, we're dedicated to providing nourishing meals to families in need, while also supporting local farmers and small businesses. But we can't do it alone - we need passionate volunteers like you to join us in our mission!

Responsibilities:

• Opening the shift: Prepare the space for our volunteers and activities.
• Guiding volunteers: Provide clear instructions and support throughout the shift.
• Assigning tasks: Determine tasks based on our needs and volunteers' skills.
• Coordinating execution: Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Setting the tone: Create a positive and engaging environment for volunteers.
• Closing/handoff: Wrap up the shift and ensure a smooth transition for the next team.

Qualities We're Looking For:

• Clear communication skills
• Proactive and organized approach
• Ability to work well with diverse teams
• Enthusiasm for creating a positive volunteer experience

• Volunteering at 3 of the shifts you will be leading
• Shadowing the lead of 1 shift
• Leading 1 shift under the supervision of an existing lead

Shifts available to lead:

• Preserve shifts: Preserving and processing produce for orders
• Inventory shifts: Inventory and prep produce for ordering/packing
• Packing shifts: Packing orders for famlies
