Are you looking for a way to make a difference in your community? Do you have a few hours to spare each week? If so, we need YOU!
We’re seeking compassionate, caring individuals to join Volunteer Services! Assist your senior neighbors and those of different abilities with their day-to-day tasks, ensuring they feel connected, supported, and valued. Help on your own time and on your own schedule. We reimburse mileage!
What You’ll Do:
- Provide transportation to doctor's appointment or to the grocery store
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Help with light housekeeping tasks
- Help with yard work
- Spend quality time, providing companionship
- Share your skills and hobbies

Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and the Gospel imperative, Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services are outreaches of the Catholic Church in Western Washington, under the leadership of the Archbishop of Seattle and the Boards of Trustees. CCS and CHS answer the Gospel call to loving and compassionate service with particular concern for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death and the dignity of the human person. Our employees and volunteers come from many faith traditions to serve and support poor and vulnerable people through the provision of quality, integrated services and housing. Our focus is on those individuals, children, families, and communities struggling with poverty and the effects of intolerance and racism. We actively join with others to work for justice.
Description
Serving Grays Harbor and Pacific counties, the Grays Harbor Family Center and its many volunteers work together to make a shared belief in compassion, love and respect for all people come alive in a ministry of presence. Located at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aberdeen, our family center is making a difference by closing the service gaps for people of all ages by providing a variety of integrated services.
