Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact, we are looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about contributing to our mission. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our executive team and help ensure the smooth operation of our organization.
Responsibilities- Manage and prioritize the executive team's calendars, arranging meetings, appointments, and travel logistics -
- Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant materials -
- Screen incoming calls and correspondence, responding or redirecting as appropriate -
- Compose and proofread various documents, including memos, reports, and presentations -
- Conduct extensive research and compile data to support decision-making and strategic planning -
- Maintain and update confidential files, records, and databases -
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting, including processing expense reimbursements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field -
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an executive assistant, preferably in the nonprofit sector -
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively -
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading and editing abilities -
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) -
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy -
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion -
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations and governance is an asset -
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment -
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
