Ready to turn your Sunday drives into a meaningful adventure?

At Sunday Lunchbox, we're on a mission to tackle food insecurity in Austin by providing healthy and delicious meals to kids in need. But we can't do it alone - we need passionate individuals like you to join us behind the wheel and make a real difference in our community.

Individual deliveries to homes: 1:30pm-5pm
Collect a set of deliveries (typically 6-10) from the cottage and cruise around Austin delivering to individual homes

Hub Spot Deliveries: 1:30-4:30
Current Hub Spots:

1. West Pecan Coffee in Pflugerville
2. Blue Owl Brewing close to East 6th St
Collect a set of deliveries (typically 15-30) from the cottage and drive to a pre-designated location in Austin. Here, you will unload your boxes and wait for door dash to come to you to pick up the orders for deliveries. This is a great shift for couples or families to do together.

About SUNDAY LUNCHBOX

Location:

11503 Cherry Hearst Court, Austin, TX 78750, US

Mission Statement

Sunday Lunchbox is a 501(c)3 organization improving access to healthy, local food for Austin families. Our mission is to provide nutritious and community inspired food for those most underserved by our food system in Austin. . We believe healthy food is a right, not a privilege.

Description

We’re being creative, to get your kids eating healthy and loving it!

Our Lunchbox Family Program is our longest-standing and core program here at Sunday Lunchbox. Families register for our Lunchbox Family program and receive weekly access to Sunday Lunchbox’s menu of minimally processed, locally sourced products at no cost. These products include fresh produce from local farms as well as shelf stable products and gluten/dairy free baked goods, all containing local produce.

Sunday Lunchbox is able to provide local produce and locally sourced meals by combining our food rescue efforts (Bumps & Bruises program!), our amazingly dedicated volunteer base, and a focus on innovation to produce nourishing and community inspired foods that kids love. Thanks to our wide base of volunteers and community partners, we’re able to deliver the food directly to families and remove barriers of access to those systemically underserved.
