Your excellent communication skills will help provide information, answer questions, and share details about upcoming events. By reaching out and building relationships, you’ll contribute to our mission of supporting those affected by health challenges.

Examples of Tasks

  • Follow-Up Calls: Reach out to event participants after our programs or activities. Gather feedback, address any concerns, and ensure a positive experience.

  • Well-Being Check-Ins: Call patients to check on their well-being. Offer a listening ear, provide encouragement, and connect them with relevant resources if needed.

  • Surveys and Feedback: Conduct short surveys to gather insights from participants. Their feedback will help us improve our services and events.

  • Event Reminders: Remind volunteers about upcoming activities, meetings, or events. Your friendly reminders will keep everyone informed and engaged.

Description

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The Foundation was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. Currently the Foundation has over 50,000 members, served by our national headquarters, as well as a over 40 chapters nationwide. As the Foundation is not a government-supported agency; we rely on the support of members and donors to continue our work. The Northwest Chapter supports the Foundation's mission in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
