10 ways you could support seniors from home as a volunteer with Northwest Neighbors Network:

1. Board member orSocial Activities Committee member: step into a leadership role with a great team, currently holding regular meetings, hosting events, managing the NNN events calendar and planning our big summer event.
2. Volunteer onboarding support : reference checks & volunteer phone interviews
3. Member outreach support: assign volunteers to check in with members
4. Services Coordinator: volunteer from home, answering phone calls on a shared Google Voice app and emails through a shared email from our members and volunteers. Encourage and look out for services for volunteers that wish to be contacted about urgent requests.
5. Social Media helper : create and/or collaborate on content and post on FB and Instagram to recruit volunteers and share information about NNN activities
6. Nextdoor Coordinator : coordinate and organize posting initiatives with other volunteers that use Nextdoor in a variety of cities
7. Fundraising support: help with all sorts of tasks to make our efforts sustainable, including researching small business funding opportunities, grant research, grant writing, making phone calls to donors, and more
8. Newsletter Editor/content coordinator: help create and publish our monthly newsletter , including soliciting new content and writers, coordinating with other contributors, and doing final editing and publishing through our website platform
9. Community resources for members : compile a list of volunteers and organizations/companies to research on behalf and for the benefit of our membership, and assist in outreach so that we have the most up-to-date resources for our community
10. Back-up Driving Team: join our small but mighty team of backup/quick-response drivers who map out a week in advance the drives they can cover if no volunteer can do them, and also might be available for last-minute service requests such as running by a pharmacy or other critical errands
