The Enviro Pet Waste Network is looking for a volunteer who is enthusiastic about keeping cat and dog poop, litter and pick-up bags our of landfill. Pet waste comprises an estimated 12% of Canadian and US residential waste. As a volunteer, you will join a long-term team working to provide information to pet owners and communities to reduce carbon pawprints.
Required:
- curiosity and willingness to learn about the many aspects of sustainable pet waste management
- reading comprehension and writing proficiency
- interest in posting blogs at association website and pitching articles for publication
Volunteering at this level will allow you to implement your chosen activity while working at a pace that suits your lifestyle while staying in the loop with your leadership team. Commitment to completing projects/tasks is essential.

The Enviro Pet Waste Network is a nonprofitª for people who want to help create a more sustainable future by repurposing pet waste, litter and bedding into a useful soil enhancer.
Our network includes scientists, entrepreneurs, community organizers, municipal authorities and pet owners/guardians who are on the forefront of developing environmentally friendly pet waste management programs.
