Be an integral component in supporting the programming and mission of the Morean Arts Center while immersing yourself in St. Pete’s vibrant arts community. For over 100 years, the Morean has worked to actively connect visitors and artists alike with opportunities to view, study, and create art. By joining the team as a volunteer at the Morean Glass Studio, you will have an opportunity to engage with glass art, support local professional artists, and contribute to the Morean’s mission to serve the art world in St. Pete!

Greet: Welcome guests into the studio, assess their needs and accurately direct them to the hot shop for glass demonstrations or to the other Morean buildings

Inform: Act as a liaison for the organization by answering guests’ questions about the Studio, programming offered by the Morean, or local neighborhood

Connect: Be the catalyst for a positive museum experience by helping guests feel welcomed & engaged with the art. Provide helpful directions or connect patrons with a guest services member to purchase original glass art.

Glass Gallery hours are 12:00p-5:00p and volunteers are needed from 11:45a-4:00p. Volunteers should expect to stand for long periods of time and feel comfortable maintaining a positive, friendly attitude in a busy, fast-paced environment. No heavy lifting requirement.
