The greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Do you have 1, 2 or more hours per week to bless another with a companion visit? Our Hospice volunteers spend time with our clients to provide companionship, play cards, reading, crafts, music or simply being present.
What does becoming a Hospice Volunteer look like? White Oak Hospice provides our volunteers with the proper training and guidance to provide a successful outcome for both the volunteer and the client. We ask that you are able to spend an hour or two per week (understanding life happens and not always able). Through our initial visits we will get to know one another so that we may best place you with a meaningful match.
Please reach out with any questions, thank you for reading!
